During a very stressful time of my life when a family member died suddenly, a friend suggested that I contact Tracey & Dave Muil in St. Catharines to assist me with the monumental task of preparing 2 single family residences, a residential rental condo unit, and a commercial building located in the St. Catharines area. This required the removal of household furniture (some antiques), artwork, appliances, garden tools and office furniture and equipment and advertising and searching for buyers wherever possible during the pandemic.

Then there was the extensive cleaning and repairs (one of the houses had a hoarding situation) and several trips to the local dump.  One house contained mold in the basement that had to be professionally remediated by a qualified mold remediation company and then Dave himself installed new drywall and paint. In addition to the building contents, there were also 6 cars (some of which were classic collector vehicles and some were only good for parts), 2 motor boats, and other watercraft to contend with. As I do not live in the St. Catharines area, Tracey and Dave were instrumental in finding interested buyers and meeting with them and negotiating sale prices.

 

Once all this was completed, I was able to successfully list and sell the properties through a real estate firm on behalf of the estate.

Tracey and Dave always kept me updated on what was happening and despite us living in cities 2 hours apart, I had full confidence in their capabilities and trusted them completely. If it were not for Tracey and Dave and their compassion and knowledge, I would still be struggling with the seemingly insurmountable estate matters.
